About
We present a diverse group of local and international artists who explore and examine notions of narrative, the idea of space and the natural world using work with a clear intent to master its medium.
Le Salon Vert was founded in 2014 in Carouge, Geneva in order to foster young and mid-career artists. The classical conception of an art gallery is extended to a convivial and stimulating space for all: artists, art enthusiasts and committed collectors. The gallery program focuses on classical techniques (paper-cut, painting, drawing, ceramic...) which are applied in a contemporary context as well as work by woman artists. Artists such as Heike Weber, Thomas Maisonnasse and Susanna Bauer also create architectural installations for commissions destined for public or private spaces. In 2016, Le Salon Vert was admitted to Geneva’s Association of Contemporary Art Galleries (Geneve.art) as well as the Association ArtCarouge. In 2018 we participated at VOLTA 14 Basel.
