About
Located in Taipei, Taiwan, the 30-year-old Liang Gallery focus on Taiwan’s modern and contemporary art. Over the years, Liang Gallery has organized many large-scale exhibitions of major Taiwanese artists and has participated in a number of international academic exchanges.
Liang Gallery was founded in 1993 by Directors Yu Yen-Liang and Claudia Chen. Located in Taipei and based in a 3-story building of 2000 square meters, Liang Gallery organizes exhibitions of different themes every month. Since its founding, the primary aim of the gallery has been to promote academic research and exhibitions of Taiwanese art. Liang Gallery is committed to developing international collaboration and exchange of art. For many years, it has been selected for inclusion in international art fairs and biennales to promote Taiwanese art. Besides a great focus on Taiwanese art, Liang Gallery is also engaged in the exploration of the cultural characteristics while looking through the lens of the Asian art history in hope for Taiwanese contemporary art to receive global attention.
