Lily Pad Gallery West provides the finest quality realism, naturalism, impressionism, and abstract works of art. With over 200 works from 70 distinct artists, the gallery brings quality art from modern contemporary to that reminiscent of 19th c. French and Dutch masters.
Located in the heart of Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, Lily Pad Gallery West was opened by Alan Perlstein and Terry Hamann in late 2016. Longtime appreciators of art, Perlstein and Hamann started as collectors 40 years ago. Recognizing that Milwaukee has been undergoing a renaissance with the rebuilding of downtown and the migration of innovative young start-up companies to the area, they realized the city needed a new art gallery, one that would raise the bar for art.
The couple's friend and partner, Wivi-Anne Weber, founded and ran the original Lily Pad Gallery in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, for the past 40 years. After supporting Weber's gallery for 20 years as collectors, Perlstein and Hamann decided to open a sister gallery in Milwaukee, which they named Lily Pad Gallery West.
