MEMORIA is a space dedicated to modern and contemporary art that, through research-story exhibitions as well as monographic proposals by the artists they represent, acts as a meeting point between Madrid and Latin American art.
Memoria is a space dedicated to Contemporary Art in the heart of Madrid (Spain). Its mission is the construction of compensatory survey-curated exhibitions through the displacement of the aesthetics of the periphery foundamented by the artists represented by the project. Also, through research and curatorial projects involving a broader spectrum of artists, geographies, and periods. The gallery opened its doors in September 2020 and was founded by the curat, artist and collector Alejandro de Villota.
