Mimmo Scognamiglio / Placido

The activity of the gallerist Mimmo Scognamiglio in the cultural life of Naples begins in December 1995 with the opening of the gallery “Scognamiglio e Teano”; the human and particularly visual experience acquired working with Lucio Amelio, for more than 10 years, allowed Mimmo Scognamiglio to outline a personal exhibition way. The space of his art gallery has become an important reference for both national and international artists with well-established aesthetic experience as well as for many young artists. Since November 2000, the gallery has changed its name in “Mimmo Scognamiglio artecontemporanea”. In 2007 Mimmo moved the gallery in Milan. In 2015 the gallery has made a joint with the Parisian Placido gallery.
