About
Novalis Contemporary Art gallery was founded in Hong Kong in 2012 by art expert William Figliola, after founded Post Design gallery in Milan (Italy) in 1992.
Our place is a mix between an art gallery and a cultural center, designed to investigate and disseminate the connections between art, architecture and photography, with a specific research into avant-garde and contemporary.
The gallery is specialised in showcasing a large amount of objects (furnitures, fabrics, ceramics and glasses) designed by Memphis Group, the famous Italian Design movement born in 1981 and led by Ettore Sottsass.
Beside the design area, we represent local and international talented photographers. As for new artists, we like to bet on them and their talent.
