Robert Grunenberg is an emerging contemporary art gallery founded in April 2018 in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
The majority of artists represented and exhibited at Galerie Robert Grunenberg were born between 1989 and the early 1990s. Most of them belong to the first generation that grew up with the culture of the Internet and digitalisation. Filip Henin, Stefan Knauf, Brandon Lipchik, Anna Virnich, Sonja Yakovleva and Jan Zöller.
Since 2022 Robert Grunenberg is representing Rainer Fetting, an established German painter born in 1949.
Even if their artistic strategies seem different, there are fundamental connections. All of them work predominantly figuratively, with “classical” materials and media (painting, drawing, paper cut, sculpture).
