About
Contemporary art gallery and publishing label from Salvador (Brazil) dedicated to emerging local and other Brazilian artists working mainly with drawing, painting and other tangent disciplines.
Contemporary art gallery and publishing label from Salvador, Bahia.
Its curatorial program is dedicated to the graphic arts in particular drawing, painting, collage, and printmaking processes, as well as young and emerging Brazilian artists. RV Cultura e Arte’s annual programming includes at least four exhibitions and participations in international art fairs, in addition to workshops, talks, guided tours and screenings that encourage a closer relationship with the local art community and aims to identify, engage, and cultivate new and expanded audiences.
Since 2011, RV Cultura e Arte also develops editorial projects such as artist books and graphic novels, with published titles being nominated for awards such as Prix de la Bande Dessinée Alternative (2016) and Prêmio Jabuti (2021).
