After running a gallery outside of Paris in Barbizon for 25 years, Suzanne Tarasieve opened her first space in Paris in 2003, in the Louise Weiss neighborhood. In 2008, the gallery opened a project space, LOFT 19, to hold temporary exhibitions and provide a residency program to support experimental projects and foreign artists. In 2011, Suzanne Tarasieve opened a gallery space in the Marais (Paris), representing young and established contemporary artists, with an international exhibition program, in collaboration with museums, art centres and curators.The gallery showcases neo-expressionnist works (M.Lüpertz, G.Baselitz, A.R. Penck, J.Immendorff) and more contemporary artists. It also represents three renown photographers (Boris Mikhaïlov, Jürgen Klauke and Juergen Teller).
