About
Located in the Santa Railyard Arts District, TAI Modern represents Japanese bamboo sculpture and baskets in addition to contemporary American painters, sculptors, and New Media artists.
TAI Modern is a Santa Fe-based fine arts gallery dedicated to exhibiting and supporting contemporary art in a variety of media, with a particular focus on Japanese bamboo art and baskets. We are committed to building the careers of our artists, providing expertise and guidance to collectors and presenting compelling exhibitions. TAI Modern is the product of a merging of two Santa Fe galleries: TAI Gallery and Eight Modern. Since these galleries merged into TAI Modern in 2014, they have continued to exhibit Eight Modern-selected artists as well as the more than forty Japanese masters cherished and promoted by TAI Gallery.
