Ranging from the Renaissance through the late nineteenth century, the collection includes paintings and sculptures by celebrated artists such as Bellini, Degas, Fragonard, Gainsborough, Goya, El Greco, Holbein, Houdon, Ingres, Manet, Monet, Rembrandt, Renoir, Titian, Turner, Velázquez, Vermeer, Veronese and Whistler. The Frick Collection's galleries also contain fine European porcelains, Limoges enamels, and eighteenth-century French furniture. The permanent collection is further enriched by frequent presentation of special exhibitions.
