About
The Wendy Halsted Gallery is dedicated to the education and promotion of fine art photography, encompassing the 19th and 20th centuries. While the gallery emphasizes photographs from 1900 – 1950, we also embrace newer contemporary photographers in our collection as well.
In 1969, Tom Halsted turned his love of photography into a business by opening a gallery dedicated solely to the sale and promotion of fine art photography. Tom had personal relationships with some of the masters of photography including Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Harry Callahan, Andre’ Kertesz and many others. His daughter Wendy, joined him in his passion for photography by working alongside him before starting her own venture in 2006. Wendy served as a board member and is now the sole proprietor of The Wendy Halsted Gallery. We invite you to visit us either in person, on the web or at one of the many shows we participate in throughout the country.
