The Middle Room Gallery

The Middle Room is a contemporary art exhibition space located in Los Angeles, California. The Middle Room was created in 2023 by Artist, Educator, Administrator and Curator, Shannon Rae Fincke to give support and exhibition opportunities to local and national mid-career female artists. Artist-run and artist-centered, The Middle Room concentrates on creating connections and conversations, building community, and expanding awareness, inquiry, dialogue, integrity, and education. The Middle Room is collaboratively owned with Fincke’s husband, Writer-Photographer and Sales Director, Douglas Jennerich, and cohabitates with Institute for Visual Arts in the Atwater Village neighborhood of LA. The gallery is open weekends 1-3pm, by appointment, and for scheduled events.
