About
Founded in 2018 in Kyiv by curators Lizaveta German and Maria Lanko and film director Marc Wilkins, it is focused on establishing a reasonable market appearance for up-and-coming Ukrainian artists. We represent Lucy Ivanova, Katya Buchatska, Petro Ryaska, Kateryna Lysovenko.
Founded in 2018 in Kyiv by curators Lizaveta German and Maria Lanko and film director Marc Wilkins, it is focused on establishing a reasonable market appearance for up-and-coming Ukrainian artists.
The gallery works with artists who are underrepresented nationally, with an ambition to promote their work worldwide. We represent Lucy Ivanova, Katya Buchatska, Petro Ryaska, Kateryna Lysovenko, Dasha Kuzmich among others. In addition to that, The Naked Room collaborates with several established artists and/or their families to procure recognition of their early work and archives, Pavlo Makov, Viktor Marushchenko and Alexander Chekmenev among them.
In 2019 the gallery founded Artist Estate of Oleg Holosiy. In 2022 The Naked Room produced Ukrainian Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia.
