Victorian College of the Arts has a history that is now 150 years old, and is committed to a studio based pedagogy, where all students are taught by artists who have active and multidisciplinary practices that engage with the national and international art world.
Connecting VCA Masters of Fine Arts with Masters of Art Curatorship students from The University of Melbourne, this booth provides a unique opportunity for students to engage in collaborative principles of sustainable art practice. Acknowledging that learning pathways often fall outside the curriculum, 3 groups have partnered and funded this initiative: the VCA, ACP PROJECTS (Art Curatorship Partnership Projects) and a philanthropic group VCA Access. Assistance from these partners has made possible student attendance at the Fair.
