W-Galería

W was established in 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a platform for critical reflection on artistic processes, production conditions, cultural practices, and political-affective connections between artworks, artists, audiences, and institutions. The gallery has three venues. In Buenos Aires, W—Archivo focuses on archive material, editorial work, and research as a process, and W—Galería exhibits contemporary proposals with an ambitious institutional semi-annual program. In Pueblo Garzón, W—Naturae offers an exhibition program promoting ecological and artistic initiatives in connection with the environment. Alongside year-round exhibitions and participation in international art fairs, W publishes artist books with its editorial label and since 2019 produces the publication Yulinda.
