Our presentation at Vienna Contemporary this year will feature two artists: Andrei Hancu and Diet Sayler.
Diet Sayler (b. 1939) is known for his geometrical abstraction and minimal art. He constantly seeks a balance between reason and emotion, creating his own geometric forms. Sayler has designed a repertoire of basic structures, akin to the signs of an alphabet. These shapes, which he calls "Basics," share a common matrix, with dimensions and proportions being decisive.
