Originally titled, “Rather Handsome Than Beautiful,” our plans for this solo exhibition of works by Wylie Garcia were upended by the COVID-19 epidemic. Aptly renamed to reflect the times, “Things Feel So Different Now,” will begin its run as Soapbox Arts’ first virtual exhibition.

So we’re doing things a little differently! We love the powerful reveal of a new body of work that in-person opening receptions offer to an artist and their audience. Since we can’t pop bottles with you just yet, we’re keeping the mystery (and excitement!) alive by releasing new paintings in small batches.
