Gli Orizzonti Possibili
Gli Orizzonti Possibili
Just as the existing landscapes are different and varied, so disparate and personal can their representations be: in the exhibition the rural and bucolic scenery coexists with the urban and artificial one in the works of Irene Balia, Marco Bettio, Nado Canuti, Roberto Fanari, Laura Giardino, Filippo La Vaccara, Nicola Nannini and Massimiliano Zaffino.
The exhibited artists - who have always dedicated part of their artistic production to the landscape - are put into dialogue with the aim of pushing the observer to a broader awareness of beauty and a greater connection to the surrounding environment, through the medium of painting .
The journey starts from the relationship with the animal world often the protagonist of Marco Bettio's works, to move on to the rice weeders of Nado Canuti's rural landscapes, up to the urban landscapes of Irene Balia and those dedicated to the city of Milan by Laura Giardino. Sardinian nature in its wildest aspect is at the center of Roberto Fanari's unpublished iron tapestries, while Massimiliano Zaffino's is a surrealist landscape, where humanity develops its ability to adapt. Rural places and towns in the Po Valley province are Nicola Nannini's subjects, while the Sicilian environment put into dialogue with the Milanese world is the one portrayed by Filippo La Vaccara.
