In Olivia Torres Díaz's work, one can appreciate her interest in representing herself and the people around her, as well as the context in which she lives, the spaces in which she develops, the landscapes that surround her. Although with a diverse visuality, which moves between figuration and abstraction, her pieces and the verbal supplement that accompanies them, although they contain a personal message for the artist, allow the viewer to decipher the meaning of each creation from a universal perspective. The artist narrates, communicates, and it is that her artistic exercise is not reduced only to technical skill, but constitutes a poetic reflection. “I have reached where I wanted” is an exhibition that synthesizes Olivia's pictorial work, an aesthetic and conceptual symbiosis.
