When people start writing a story, they need a central character to begin with. As they proceed, they need dialogues, and other characters. Everything comes together to make the story impactful. In the same way, when I start with my painting I start with a big figure and slowly everything else keeps coming to make my paintings into a visual story. I communicate through the symbols and motifs that are added to my paintings, each of which contains a story of its own.

We are surrounded in a world that is full of art. As an artist, I see it in everything, and recreate the same to appeal to the senses, emotions, or intellect of others. I truly believe that for art and fiction to resonate, they must speak honestly and emotionally. And if it delivers on the above parameters, it is remembered for a long time. Subconsciously, myths, mall culture and metropolitan lifestyle attract me. I am from a small town in Bihar, I grew up listening to mythological stories, and dreamed about living in big city. I used to see at the beautiful face of the gods and goddesses. Where flowers are offered. You will see women in nature in my paintings adorned like gods. I paint the Indian Gods and Goddesses with regards to the common, everyday people. While painting the above on canvas, I strive to create a meaningful world and disseminate positive energy. To do so, I use bright colors, flowers, elements of nature and patterns etc. that helps people break out from the concrete jungles they live in.
