GOOD VIBRATIONS CARRIE GERACI

I see incredible, surprising color in nature. I play with color and share unique color combinations and impressions of place. I hope they jog memories of playful times when we were young and open to new ideas and experiences.
I grew up in New England surrounded by flowering trees, windy pine forests. Now I live in the mountains, dark hues, huge skies, and wild rivers In Wyoming. The push and pull of color is the vibration of life.
CARRIE GERACI “Good Vibrations”, November 1- Decmeber31,2024 I grew up in New England surrounded by flowering trees, windy pine forests, with fields of Daisies, Black Eyed Suzanne, and Queen Annes lace that towered above my head. Now I live in the mountains, dark hues, huge skies, and wild rivers. I see incredible, surprising color in nature. I play with color and share unique color combinations and impressions of place. I hope they jog memories of playful times when we were young and open to new ideas and experiences. The push and pull of color is the vibration of life. Our memories are subjective, yet color is scientific. In my work I hope that our instinctual, spiritual, empathetic reactions to color and the memories of a suggested place can help to reconnect us to our childlike sense of wonder and elicit an openness to new experiences that helps us feel a sense of connection and belonging that reminds us to be in awe of nature.
