“Terra Incantata” by Jeff Robb

Enchanted Land is the title of the new exhibition by Jeff Robb, hosted in Treviso, Italy, within the evocative setting of Casa Robegan, from December 14, 2024, to February 9, 2025.
Organized by the Cris Contini Contemporary gallery in collaboration with the City of Treviso and the Treviso Civic Museums, with the support of Banca Prealpi SanBiagio, Gruppo Cassa Centrale, and Fondazione Mazzotti, the exhibition promises to be a truly unique event. This exhibition offers a unique immersion into the world of British artist Jeff Robb, who masterfully blends tradition and innovation through a visual dialogue between the historical essence of Treviso and contemporary art. Using lenticular photography, immersive installations, and soundscapes, Robb creates a multisensory journey that reveals his relationship with the city and its natural and architectural elements. The still lifes, made three-dimensional through lenticular techniques, provide a dynamic and deep perspective, inviting visitors to linger on the hidden beauty in what often goes unnoticed. Each installation is designed to amplify the visual experience and encourage a fresh perception of reality. Projections and soundscapes, created specifically for this exhibition, transport the viewer into an evocative atmosphere where light and shadow merge, evoking both the past and present of the city. Robb’s goal is to engage a diverse audience by offering an accessible space for contemplation and discovery, where each viewer can find their own connection with the work. This exhibition is an invitation to explore the world with new eyes, celebrating the intersection of Treviso’s cultural heritage and a boundary-free, innovative artistic vision.
