Mari Kuroda
Mari Kuroda uses acrylic paints along with mud paints, mineral pigments, Japanese black ink(sumi), and also uses whitewash made from shells, which elegantly reflects light and makes her paintings brilliant and transparent. She mainly uses techniques of Japanese paintings and dying clothes (techniques for painting on Japanese kimono fabric), and that brings unique and beautiful colors in her paintings.
