MAONKI Gallery proudly presents Echoes of the Year, a retrospective celebrating its most compelling exhibitions of 2024. From the sunlit landscapes of Mallorca to the introspective depths of Venice and Paris, this showcase revisits the dynamic artistry and themes that defined the year, all curated by the visionary team at MAONKI.

A cornerstone of the gallery’s achievements was Vibrant Vistas, a breathtaking exhibition held in Palma, Mallorca. Featuring works by Anjali de Bellefroid and Shobhana Tyroller, this show captured the radiant Mediterranean light and the island’s enchanting beauty. Vibrant Vistas not only celebrated Mallorca’s unique spirit but also drew international attention to the island as a hub for contemporary art. Another highlight was MAONKI’s participation in the Biennale di Venezia with Readings of the Sea. Andreja Soleil’s poetic oceanic paintings forged a lyrical connection between art and environmental advocacy, resonating deeply with Biennale audiences and reinforcing the gallery’s commitment to global themes. In Paris, MAONKI hosted Impressions of Love in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, showcasing Soleil’s lithographs, ink drawings, and etchings. These evocative pieces explored love as a transformative force, leaving a profound impression on the Parisian art scene. The retrospective also revisits Soul-Tsukumogami, an exploration of Japanese folklore and the spirit within everyday objects, and Enigmatic Hues: Blue, a collective celebration of the evocative power of blue tones curated from international artists.
