For the artist, drawing and design have been a passion since she was a little girl growing up in South Korea. Park pursued her love of painting by taking a degree in Fine Arts and Design Advertising at Konkuk University in Seoul, majoring in Oriental painting.

Park states how each new piece she works on is 'led by emotion', she uses Chinese ink and large, traditional calligraphy brushes to create flowing marks across the page, the ink is then spread, splattered and dropped on the surface of the paper. Once dry she carefully paints the nighttime cityscapes that bring the work to life from the iconic buildings to the twinkling lights and neon signs that illuminate our cities at night.

In her second year of University, Park went on a two month trip to the Czech Republic. It was this trip that ignited her love for travel and to record and paint what she saw and felt in each new city . Park's passion for travel has taken her all across the globe to from Hong Kong, Singapore, Florence, Tokyo, London and New York. Each of these cities feature in her paintings.

Park's work expertly captures the interplay of light and shadow, revealing the vibrant energy and subtle tranquillity that coexist in urban environments. Each piece is a testament to her keen eye for detail and her ability to infuse a sense of wonder and storytelling into familiar city scenes.
