Shown for the first time togheter, we will be presenting a vibrant and captivating booth showcasing new work by Yigal Ozeri, Radenko Milak & Jan Kuhlemeier.
Yigal Ozeri is an established artist who creates documentary photo-realistic paintings that capture the chaotic pulse of New York’s urban terrain. As a New Yorker himself, Ozeri has developed an eye for the unconventional moments of beauty that city dwellers have long embraced. It is in these offbeat settings that Ozeri’s work captures a 21st-century sensibility. Radenko Milak currently lives and works in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His remarkable technique is displayed in his detailed black-and-white watercolor paintings. He creates intimate portrayals of urban spaces, often referencing current events and topics such as major world catastrophes, wars, and global environmental crises. His paintings are imbued with a certain stillness and ambiguity, offering a poignant depiction of humanity and modern life. Jan Kuhlemeier blends multiple layers of pigment on the canvas to explore the boundaries between painting and other media. He meticulously searches for specific hues and color nuances, using his unique technique to merge energy, motion, and color. This approach allows him to create vibrant landscapes inspired by the geographical places he has visited. Through his blending technique, Kuhlemeier blurs the line between painting and object, pushing the traditional limits of the art form.
