Urban Nature: Between the City and the Wild

Urban Nature: Between the City and the Wild

This exhibition explores the dialogue between two worlds—urban landscapes and untouched nature. Through works that fully embrace the city, fully celebrate nature, or stand at the intersection between them, the exhibition challenges us to contemplate how these seemingly opposing forces coexist and interact.
"Art reveals where the urban ends, where nature begins, and where they intertwine."
The exhibition Urban Nature: Between the City and the Wild presents a dynamic exploration of two distinct worlds—the structured, man-made urban landscape and the untamed beauty of nature. Some of the works celebrate the city in all its industrial, architectural, and energetic forms. Others immerse us in natural landscapes, offering serenity, vitality, and organic chaos. Yet, in certain moments, the boundaries begin to blur. The artworks invite viewers to examine where these worlds overlap, whether through nature reclaiming urban spaces or through the aesthetics of the city finding harmony within natural rhythms. Is the city defined by its rigid structures, or does it hold the potential for organic growth? Can nature exist untouched, or does it inevitably adapt to humanity's presence? These questions are embodied in the works on display, ranging from pure representations of the urban or the natural to those that capture the liminal space where the two collide. Through paintings, sculptures, and mixed media, Urban Nature offers a compelling reflection on our surroundings—whether concrete jungles, wild horizons, or the evolving space in between.
