Shadow Puppet - Hala Dabaji

Shadow Puppet - Hala Dabaji

Hala Dabaji's acrylics on canvases show portraits of a golden character, Obu, on a flat and distanced night. In the artist's more recent watercolor paintings on fabric, there is a need for fluidity and lightness. Elements of nature and hand gestures suggest different communication forms, like signs and shadow play.
