Art World Buzz: Balloon Monkey Sells for £7,5 Million at Auction

One of the highlights of the October Frieze Week Evening Sales was Jeff Koons's monumental Balloon Monkey (Blue) 2006-2013, which sold for an astonishing £7,5 Million (including fees), achieving the second-highest selling price at Christie's auction. This nearly 6-meter-tall, mirror-polished stainless steel sculpture even surpassed its lowest estimate of £6.5 million. The seller? Allegedly, none other than world-renowned artist Damien Hirst.
