This year, White Cube is pleased to showcase highlights from its Frieze Week programming across London, including Frieze Masters, Frieze sculpture, and the gallery's private viewing rooms in Bermondsey and Mason's Yard.
White Cube will debut a major installation of Tracey Emin bronze relief portraits, editions of her acclaimed commission for the National Portrait Gallery, alongside works by newly represented Alia Ahmad, Sylvia Snowden, Jeff Wall and Imi Knoebel among others. At Frieze Masters, White Cube presents a solo booth of works by Doris Salcedo, showcasing historic and recent pieces as part of the fair’s ‘Studio’ section. Theaster Gates’s monumental work ‘The Duet’ (2023) also features in the 12th edition of Frieze Sculpture.
Frieze Sculpture
Coinciding with Frieze London and Frieze Masters 2024, Frieze Sculpture returns to Regent’s Park for its 12th edition. Curated by Fatoş Üstek, this year’s exhibition will feature works by 22 leading international artists, including Theaster Gates. On view in the park’s historic English Gardens, Theaster Gates’s ‘The Duet’ (2023) comprises two colossal bronze sculptures, ‘Bronze Vessel 1’ (Strike) and ‘Bronze Vessel 2 (Double Mooring)’.
