Jan Wonis Between Worlds
In this surrealist composition, a young boy in a striped shirt sits in a doorway, gazing at a mural painted on a nearby wall. The mural depicts a river winding through lush mountains, where below, another boy dressed in Aladdin-style white garb, barefoot and shielding his eyes, appears captivated by the scene. The artist captures a moment where two boys from different worlds seem to meet, reflecting both the cultural divergences and the shared beauty of the realms they inhabit.

David Lingwood View from my terrace
Hand-signed and titled in pencil by the artist, Lingwood captures a tranquil NYC rooftop scene from an era when only one skyscraper—the World Trade Center—stood alone in the skyline. A classic water tank anchors the terrace, embodying old New York. This scene contrasts sharply with today’s cityscape, where skyscrapers dominate, stacking higher and higher. Lingwood’s work evokes nostalgia for a quieter, more intimate urban landscape.
