Gallery Yukiko Nakajima is pleased to present the solo exhibition Reishi Kusaka.

To conduct his motivations, he uses simple figures, for example, triangles, rectangles, circles, dots, lines, diamonds and ovals. In addition, the colours on the canvas are uncomplicated as well. Judging from the pictures he has depicted, anyone realizes that he fancies putting fewer materials and elements in his work, but the images he creates give unfamiliar and unique impressions. As a result, they project an incredible impact on us. With the subtle appearances, his motivation hidden in the materials gets us bewildered and rejects us to get close to pictures when we see his picture initially because few elements don't allow us to consider what the artist is going on. Referring to his dialogue, his practice of how to describe is measurable. He keeps breathing peacefully and moves his fingers and arms on the same rhythms while drawing. That is why his intentions that artists should appreciate disappeared、 as a consequence, his unique images from top to bottom appear changeless impacts on us.
