Art is the voice of the spirit, expressed through the strokes of creativity.
Chidy Wayne, born in Barcelona in 1981, brings a unique blend of primitive and avant-garde influences to his work. His quick and bold strokes delve into universal themes of identity and conflict. This exhibition at the Chateau de Male, a historic 9th-century castle near Bruges, provides a fitting backdrop to his powerful and introspective works. Visitors will experience a journey through Wayne's creative evolution, highlighted by the majestic and harmonious architecture of the castle.
Fading Faith
Inspired by the philosophical premise that the loss of higher references has led us to an individualistic and self-centered approach, this exhibition seeks to question and explore who we really are in the absence of those ancient guides. As faith in external structures and authoritarian figures dissolves, we emerge as the protagonists of our own narrative, carrying the responsibility and weight of defining ourselves.
