Intimate Diaries showcases a group of works that are based on personal experiences or make reference to historical works. In this series, the sexual and the sensual come to fore.
Norma de Saint Picman is an internationally renowned visual artist working in painting, graphics, sculpture, ceramics and intermedia art. The artist created her own mainly figurative postmodern style which consists of works on paper - etchings, lithographs during her Paris period through working in aquarelles, oil paintings and, more recently, digital graphics, polyester, ceramic sculpture and video installations. For De Saint Picman, a mixture of several ways and techniques of expression is very important to create a kind of interwoven knitted reality between classical and modern, archaic and contemporary, involving music, poetry and dance performances.
